O Father of all, make me a good father to my family.

Give my wife all the help she needs to bear the double burden when I am at sea. Let my leaves be times of happiness and opportunities for the renewal of love between each of us, my wife and me ad our children….(name the loved ones) As long as I go out to sea may it be my constant joy to return home to those whom you have given me for my own, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
